want to have your say in how we are governed in Wales? |
February 18, 2008 1:00 PM |
A website has been launched inviting everyone to discuss new legislation - starting with a new Welsh language act. This is not a site for experts, but for all of us to put forward our opinions and ideas about how we would like to see out future. It works on a similar basis to Wikipaedia, in that anyone can add content - so go to
http://wikideddfu.com and have your say!

Future of Communities @One |
February 07, 2008 10:44 AM |
We have received a number of requests about the future of funding for Communities @One.
The funding for Communities @One ends on 30 June 2008. We are in the process of holding discussions with the Welsh Assembly Government and the Wales European Funding Office around what might follow. We are currently working through what form any successor project might take, where it would be focused, the size of the initiative, and likely start date. We are hoping that these issues might be clarified in the near future.
We are initially applying for ‘Convergence’ funding in the Objective One areas. The focus in future is likely to be related to the more economic ‘Lisbon agenda’, which could include the enhancement of an individual’s skills towards employment, income generation within community groups or in the establishment and development of new and existing social enterprises.
We will share any further information as soon as it becomes available.

You won´t believe how easy it is to follow the simple steps to produce quality videos from your photographs.
Step 1, select the pictures by using the usual browse feature to find them
Step 2, Add a title to any pictures you wish, edit the typeface and centre it etc. with the little push buttons
Step 3, Record a Commentary for the snaps, if desired.
Step 4, Add music, or get the programme to create music for you.
This clever little package either pans or zooms in or out on the images to make them seem animated, automatically adds your sound or commentary, and generates some very clever music just by tweaking some styles and settings - hey presto! instant movies.
It is deceptively simple, don´t be scared, give it a go, …what is the worst that could happen?
