A small number of Communities @One projects are having a networking session at PC Care in Port Talbot. Here are their thoughts and recommendations, which may be of interest to you…

and the questions were…

participants were asked to work in pairs to provide feedback on the training sessions they have attended by answering the following questions:

1 thing to recommend to other Communities @One projects

1 thing you´ve learned from your partner and/or these training sessions

1 thing you´d like to do in the future

Feedback on training course

This is a joint comment from Andrew Vollans, Cultural Fusion Wales and Ceri Cullen, The Gateway Gardens Trust.

Two things we´d recommend to other Communities @One projects:-

Attend a training course on new technologies led by Sangheet Bhuller. It was easy to learn and put into practice cutting edge internet technologies such as blogs.

Think about making a digital appraisal of the project.

What we´d like to do in the future:-

Apply the training and it will help us save money, time and  share the skills with the community groups we work with.

Feedback on training

The training was excellent. The information on new technology very useful. We think it also made us aware of  internet security issues.

In order for us to maximise the benefit of this training, follow up courses are highly desirable. This follow up training would allow exchange of information and experiences among the various projects.

The information acquired during this training will help to implement Internet security measures.

We are grateful to Communities @ One for organising this training and look forward to the next round of courses.

Communities@One Feedback

1. We would like to reccomend the new technologies training that we had with Sangeet Bhullar, because it gave us information on making our own group blogs and looking after Internet security.

2. We learned alot from the diversity of each others projects, abilities and enthusiasm.

3. Keeping in contact with colleagues from the projects we met on the course and possibly visiting them in the future.
