FAQs about kit

Why do we need IT support?

Your IT system needs support to cope with routine maintenance, such as updating virus checking & security software, and breakdowns.

What is a network?

In the simplest terms, a network consists of two or more computers that are connected together to share information.

Why do we need a network?

Computer networks can bring many advantages for organisations including the ability to make backups of important files in one safe place, as well as sharing resources such as internet connection, printers, scanners etc.

What is website hosting?

Once you’ve created your website you need somewhere to “host” it. Website hosting is usually done by specialist providers. Web hosts provide you with space on a server (computer) where you can store your web pages and other website files so they can be accessed on the Internet.
